Spongebob vs Mickey Mouse Remastered is a remaster episode of Cartoon Beatbox Battles. It's a remaster of the original Mickey Mouse vs SpongeBob Squarepants, bringing in subtitles, new animation, solos, and writing. This is the 16th episode in the series overall.
This is the first episode to bring Mickey Mouse to another episode after 4 years (Pikachu Vs Groot flashback), and this time as a competitor against Spongebob again.
Plot
Character introduction
Verbal Ase immediately gets to introducing the characters in an almost self-aware manner, playing with the viewers on the fact that they already know who the competitors of the episode are. Verbal Ase first introduces Spongebob who makes a roast on Mickey Mouse being a mouse and telling him to "crawl back into his hole". Verbal Ase chuckles at this and later explains that Spongebob said Mouse because Mickey IS indeed a mouse, this wiki does not need to tell you that. Verbal Ase introduces Mickey Mouse, who calls Spongebob a buck-tooth lab experiment. Spongebob gets offended by this, but before the two could argue any longer Verbal Ase starts the match with Spongebob.
Spongebob's beatbox round
Post-Spongebob's beatbox round
Mickey Mouse mocks Spongebob's line of "Eat some cheese", asking if what's next is "Slice some cake". Deadpool tells Mickey Mouse he already did that in Episode 9, but Verbal Ase is displeased of Deadpool's appearance and tells him he's not supposed to be here. Deadpool looks at the camera and says "yet", because his episode canonically would not have happened yet. Verbal Ase asks if Spongebob has any comments, with him asking one question on why Mickey Mouse looks like Minnie Mouse without the makeup. Mickey Mouse gasps from this, and is told by Verbal Ase that if he wanted to strike back, he could now. But before Verbal Ase can do the countdown, Mickey Mouse mocks Verbal Ase's line of countdowns and does it himself. Verbal Ase get's mad at this and Mickey Mouse apologizes. Verbal Ase then starts Mickey Mouse's round.
Mickey Mouse's beatbox round
Post-Mickey Mouse's beatbox round
Verbal Ase compliments Mickey Mouse's round, and Mickey Mouse explains that's how you beatbox, instead of Spongebob's "poop sounds". But Spongebob tells Mickey Mouse that at least they got to see him in the new animation before he lost, obviously detailing on how Mickey Mouse has never appeared in any other animation apart from his first episode, due to his absence from all other episodes. Mickey Mouse is insulted by this, but Verbal Ase is just wondering on why there are so many 4th wall breaks in the episode, because he implies that this is just supposed to be a remaster episode. Spongebob and Mickey Mouse are both surprised to hear this, implying that they didn't have knowledge of this being a rematch. Verbal Ase is embarrassed for revealing this information, and sweats.
