Sonic

Sonic is a competitor in Cartoon Beatbox Battles. He has won against Mario with his beatbox variation of “Green Hill Zone Theme” but lost against Black Panther with his beatbox variation to “Chemical Plant Zone Theme”. He will face Thanos in the Loser Round.

Appearance

Sonic is a blue spiky hedgehog with connected green eyes. His arms are pure skin, with gloves on his hands. He wears red shoes with a white stripe.

Super Sonic is the same as Sonic, but the only changes are his head spikes are facing upward, his fur turns gold, and his pupils turn red.

Sonic used to have a greenish-yellow eye color in Mario Vs Sonic, but they were changed to their canon shade of green in Spongebob Vs Deadpool and after.

Personality

Sonic has more of a cocky personality in Cartoon Beatbox Battles, as he's shown to think of Mario's beatbox as "slow" to him in Mario Vs Sonic. In the same episode, he is also shown to get easily offended, such as when Mario called him ugly, or when Mario says Sonic is “used to doing everything fast”.

However, in Black Panther Vs Sonic, Sonic can also be seen as insensitive such as when he makes roasts about Black Panther's dad's death multiple times.

Mario Vs Sonic

Sonic makes his first debut in episode eight. Sonic first runs around when introduced. Mario says his fiery blaze smells like bad chili with Sonic coming back at Mario saying he smells like used toilet paper. Verbal ASE tries to break it up with Mario dissing Sonic again. After this, Mario’s beatbox solo begins.

After Mario's beatbox round, Sonic criticizes it, stating it sounded too slow. Mario replies with, “That’s because he’s used to doing everything-a really fast-a if you know what I mean.” A.S.E. uses this as a chance to start Sonic’s beatbox solo.

Supersoniccartoonbeatboxbattles — Super Sonic in Mario Vs Sonic.

Sonic first moonwalks with green, red, and blue lighting in the background. He states that Mario cannot mess with him because he's pure speed. Sonic's eyes then turn into a speed tracker, turning at 130 mph. Sonic is then seen in a racing stadium, with him jumping into his racing car, blowing Mario away. Sonic is then seen next to Peach's castle, where he steals [1]the princess. Later on, Sonic is seen with the chaos emeralds. He then turns into Super Sonic, which causes a giant explosion. The hedgehog is then seen doing the loser gesture and floss with two Metal Sonics. After that, he transforms back to normal Sonic.

Spongebob Vs Deadpool

Sonic was voted as the winner from Episode 8, Mario Vs Sonic. He does a thumbs up and a wink. He and Verbal ASE then see Mario on the floor, pretending to be dead. When Mario tells them that he's not there, Verbal ASE and Sonic look at each other in confusion.

Black Panther Vs Sonic

Sonic faced Black Panther in Episode 12. Sonic is first seen in Wakanda, telling Black Panther to get ready to be kicked out of his home. Sonic's then back to the arena, making a pun with Black Panther's name, "T'chilli". The blue blur's then in a kingdom, sitting on a throne and putting a crown on his head. Sonic points at Black Panther, stating "You think you're fast, but when you blink right there I'll be gone". Sonic then runs away in a blink of an eye, and taps Black Panther on the shoulder. The king looks behind, with Sonic holding a laptop to the site "couldntsavemydad.com", with Black Panther in there. The scene then cuts to Sonic dancing, then doing a backflip, stating "Know you're not ready yet, Know you're not ready to get stepped on, like a cat". Sonic then shows a whiteboard of steps on how to step on a cat. He then grabs a bag of "Black Panther", which is just kitty litter. Black Panther catches it and gets mad. The fastest thing alive is then seen with a doctor outfit, and an alarm clock. Sonic uses a stethoscope and an alarm clock to identify Black Panther's heart rate, in which the panther breaks the alarm clock and stethoscope. Black Panther attempts to catch Sonic, but fails. Sonic then dresses up in under a second, claiming that his opponent can never see him because he's John Cena. Sonic is then seen with a Black Panther dance, and doing a ballet spin dance. Black Panther is then seen wearing a tutu. Sonic is then in a doctor outfit again, in Wakanda, treating a few felines, which have really bad temperatures. Sonic is then in a street, with a "SLOW DOWN" sign.

Sonic then cuts to the arena where he points at Black Panther, stating he can't dance. Sonic then beatboxes. After this, Tails, Amy, Sonic, and Knuckles all point at Black Panther, all stating that the panther has no chance. Sonic and Amy then beatbox together. Sonic is then holding a miniature Black Panther, and then drops it and crushes it with his foot. He then grabs the ashes of the crushed Black Panther. Then cuts to Sonic, Amy, and Shadow all beatboxing together. Sonic is then seen holding an infinity gauntlet, and blowing the miniature Black Panther dust into Black Panther's eyes. Sonic then transforms into Werehog, blowing Verbal ASE and Black Panther away. The scene cuts to zooming in of Werehog next to a cliff, howling. Amy, Sonic, and Shadow singing fade in through it, but shortly then cuts to Sonic in the kingdom on the throne, making a trick with the crown and then putting it on his head.

Pennywise Vs Patrick

Sonic didn't have enough votes to beat Black Panther, and so he has lost.

Amy Rose Vs Pinkie Pie

Sonic was mentioned by Amy Rose and Pinkie Pie multiple times during the match. He later physically appears, checking out Rouge at the end.

Season 1 Finale

Sonic appears singing with Verbalase along with Groot, Pikachu, and SpongeBob. During the previews of the past episodes, we can see Sonic transforming into Super Sonic from Episode 8 and Sonic being thrown out of the boxing ring by Black Panther scene from Episode 12.

Shadow vs Vegeta

Sonic is mentioned a lot of times during the episode by both Shadow and Vegeta.First,he was mentioned by Verbal ASE when the ref tells Shadow that Sonic also competed,but lost.Next time when he was mentioned is when Vegeta called Shadow a wannabe Sonic.The final time he was mentioned is when Vegeta calls Shadow a brand version of the hedgehog.

Trivia

Sonic will be coming back, as said by Verbal ASE in his "Cartoon Beatbox Battles Episode 13 chat".

In Season 2 as stated by Verbal ASE, Sonic has the possibility to be voiced by the Sonic voice actor in the Sonic and Amy Squad channel.
Sonic's second beatbox took samples from the video made by Verbal Ase called "Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Beatbox".
Thanos, Groot, and Sonic are always presented in the right corner.
In all Sonic solos, there's a background singer that helps him with the solos.
Sonic's 2nd performance is the only non-Marvel beatbox performance in round 2 to not have "look at you" in the lyrics.
Sonic was supposed to face Pennywise in Episode 11, but that matchup didn't happen since the voting poll Verbalase made was deleted and was replaced by Groot.
Sonic, SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mario are the only ones to have a cameo in a series outside of cartoon beatbox battles (that being Cartoon beatbox lessons and cartoon beatbox collabs)
Sonic is the last character to win round 1 (Mario) and the last character to lose the semi finals to (Black Panther)
