Pikachu Vs Groot is the second episode in Cartoon Beatbox Battles, and the second episode overall (excluding live episodes).
This episode has 21 million views on YouTube and was set for kids by them. It and Black Panther Vs Batman are the only episodes to do so.

Plot
Pikachu Vs Groot - Cartoon Beatbox Battle
Start-up
A zoom in of the arena is seen, and two faces on both sides are singing the Cartoon Beatbox Battles theme.
Flashback
Verbal ASE welcomes the viewers, and tells them what happened in the first episode. Verbal ASE reveals SpongeBob as the winner. The fry cook exclaims "Promotion!" and then laughs. Verbal ASE then shoves him away, telling him to shut up.
Introducing the competitors
The ref then introduces Pikachu, with him saying "Pika pika, Pikachu!". Verbal ASE tells the Pokemon to repeat, so he says it again but slower and in a less excited tone. The host then understands what Pikachu says. Verbal ASE then introduces Groot, who states "I am Groot." Verbal ASE tells him he just said that, with the tree simply claiming "I am Groot" again. Verbal ASE asks if he is sure, angering the Avenger. Threateningly, he grabs Verbal ASE and repeats "I am Groot," slowly. Groot then lets go after Verbal ASE understands. Verbal ASE then lets Pikachu start his round.
Pikachu's beatbox round

Pikachu rubs his cheeks. He then does the twerk dance, until he starts beatboxing. He starts hopping up and down, while Groot ignores it. Pikachu then beatboxes some more, with Verbal ASE bopping his head to it. Pikachu then gets furious at Groot, who is currently sleeping during his beatbox. At the end of his beatbox, the mouse's head inflates and gets bigger and bigger, until he makes a small explosion shock and deflates his head back.
Post-Pikachu's beatbox round
Verbal ASE yells "woah" from Pikachu setting the ring on fire, and that they'll see if Groot can put him out. The host then asks Groot on his shoulder if he is ready, with Groot responding with "I am Groot," which is taken as a yes. The host then begins the tree's turn.

In Groot's beatbox round, the Avenger puts his arm up and rotates his hand. He then puts his arm down, then back up again. Groot then does the Gangnam Style dance. After this, he is seen with the death button, pressing it multiple times, and then pulls out a paper saying "I am Groot."
Post-Groot's beatbox round
Verbal ASE states that the voting for this battle will be close. He then tells the viewers to vote on who they think won, with Groot slapping the camera, and Pikachu giving a thundershock to Verbal ASE. The ref is then seen burnt with bruises all over him, making him collapse onto the floor. Pikachu asks "Pika pika?" and Groot responds with "I am Groot!" while shrugging.

- Verbal ASE has said on multiple occasions that he doesn't like the animation in this episode, and it is also his least favorite episode on the series. This episode has since become a joke in the fandom.
- This is the only episode where a contestant doesn't give a nickname to another contestant. This is because neither of them can talk.
- This is the first episode to be playable in 1080p.
