Groot is a male competitor in Cartoon Beatbox Battles. He has won against Pikachu with his beatbox variation of Gangnam Style and Push It, but lost against Pennywise with an original beatbox.
Appearance
Groot is a small tree-like humanoid creature with three leaves on his head. During his beatbox round in Pikachu Vs Groot, he wears his Ravager suit. This then becomes the main look for Groot.
His ravager suit is red and has a beige zipper with an orangeish-beige badge on the leg. He look his Earth-616 Marvel Comics Counterpart.
Personality
Groot is confident on winning and does what he can with his small size. Groot also get's mad and physical when people joke about his problem of only saying "I am Groot".

Pikachu Vs Groot

Groot makes his first debut against Pikachu in Episode 2. In Groot's beatbox round, Groot puts his arm up, and rotates his hand. He then puts his arm down, and up again. Groot then does the "Gangnam Style" dance. After this, Groot is seen with the death button, pressing it multiple times, and then pulls out a paper saying "I am Groot".
Pennywise Vs The Joker
Groot was voted as the winner for Episode 2. Groot's response to it is "I am groot", with Verbal ASE making the same "are you sure?" joke. Groot then gets mad, and brings out his spikes on his fingers. Verbal ASE takes back what he said, and Groot puts his spikes back in. He also appears on the newspaper called "News and Olds" that The Joker is holding under "New Cartoon by Daylight Animation Studio".
Deadpool Vs Deadshot
Groot can be seen in the winner corner drinking a juice cup. Spongebob asks how he's doing, with Groot saying "I am Groot". Groot can be seen again when Deadpool is talking to Spongebob.
Mario Vs Sonic
Groot can be seen in the arena with Black Panther, Spongebob, and Patrick, when Verbal ASE asks why are they up on the arena.
Thanos Vs Patrick
The whole Avengers team was mentioned by Verbal ASE to save him from Thanos during the mad titan's introduction.
Pennywise Vs Groot
Groot faced Pennywise in Episode 11 for the second round. In his beatbox round, it rains on him and he starts to grow leaves on him. He then is seen in a pot and then jumps up and breaks the pot. Then we see him wearing a tuxedo, and opening some curtains made of leaves with a scarecrow in the look of Pennywise. Groot then grabs an axe and chops down the scarecrow, which upsets Pennywise. Groot then can later be seen dressed up as Pennywise, mocking him on how he dances. This gets Verbal ASE to chuckle, which gets Pennywise angry at Verbal ASE.

Groot then grows trees out of the Arena floor. Verbal ASE and Pennywise watch in shock/confusion. The trees then get mouths and sing in a choral symphony. After that, Groot is seen doing the floss with some Trees. The Guardians of the Galaxies are then seen dancing and cheering for Groot. Groot then has a mini explosion behind him with him dropping the mic as his ending.
Black Panther Vs Sonic
Groot didn't get enough votes to beat Pennywise, and so he has lost.
Pennywise Vs Patrick
Two Groots appear in a Pennywise costume, and are used for Pennywise's chorus in his beatbox round.
Black Panther Vs Deadpool
He is seen sitting in a chair next to an empty seat that says "RESERVED for Black Panther", feeling bad for Spongebob as well. He was also shocked that Deadpool kicked Sandy's bowl filled with nuts.
Season 1 Finale
Groot appears beatboxing with Verbal Ase, Sonic, Pikachu and Spongebob.
Trivia
- Groot is the first and only character to have a design change in the same episode they starred in.
- Groot is the only character so far to have a change to their voice from during the series.
- Groot is one of the six people to get their beatbox solo entirely remixed. The other five are Patrick, Goofy, Pikachu, Mickey Mouse, and Spongebob.
- This is because in the first 4 episodes, there was no music or background vocals.
- Groot is the Second 2nd Shortest character in Cartoon Beatbox Battles so far, as well as the Shortest Marvel Comics Hero, at 10 inches He Much Little Taller than Pikachu.
- Groot is the first Marvel character added in Cartoon Beatbox battles. The others are Deadpool, Black Panther and Thanos.
- There is a chance that Groot could come back in Season 2, not in the Loser Round, but fighting Baby Yoda.
- Thanos, Groot and Sonic are always presented in the right corner.
- In Episode 2,Verbal ASE stated that Groot's voice had an effect on it to make me sound more like he did in the movie.
- Groot has always gone last in his battles.
